Routine

It’s been a while since I’ve posted any poetry, so I figured it was a bit overdue. So I present:

Routine

How many times

Have you said your lines

It’s been a million times

That I’ve said mine

Everyday it’s the same thing

We’ve fallen into routine

Daily we ninja to test

Our sleight of hands

Using the same techniques

Ninja is supposed to be Ninja,

Not routine.

We need to find our true Ninja halves

To believe in our corresponding ideals

Bushido vs. Equal fights

Should not be the archetype

How many times

Have you said your lie?

It’s been a million times

That I’ve let you get by

This is the end of our idiocies

Because I’m changing it up

By saying Good Bye.
