Heavenly Image

So… the boost of faith was from a kind stranger. It was pouring outside and she walked me to class barefoot under her umbrella. She was awesome [both because of her umbrella-sharing and her conversation].But tonight’s post is another poetry night:

Heavenly Image

The world was blurred, less defined

Into an empty cup the clouds poured

With vision hindered, you still caught my eye

A heavenly image at a hell of a time

To my soul you’re proving magnetic

I can’t refrain from contact, even if it is static

Underneath your stunning umbrella halo

Is a face composed of magnificent care

When Earth offers you the flats

You face it barefooted, relaxed

You smile when it’s torrential

Undiscouraged by the fall

I give you my every and all

You’re void of mortal vanity

Gently you change your path

Aiming to rid mine of the bad

You boost my faith in humanity

The world was blurred, less defined

Into an empty cup the clouds poured

With vision hindered, you still caught my eye

A heavenly image at a hell of a time

That’s all I have- I’m off to see if I can catch a glimpse of the meteor shower and to bed! Night!!
